Humako Sweet is a beautiful chimera African violet with a white bloom with a light pink shaded stripes. It is a standard Chimera with leaves that are dark green, are ovate and quilted. Below is the sport I observed.
The difference here is the edges of the bloom are green and unlike the other sports of Humako Sweet, this one appears to be a chimera, unlike the solid color sports as discussed in a past blog a few months ago. My intent is to try and propagate the stem in tissue culture and replicate a green edged Humako Sweet. We shall see if it works.
