I always enjoy time-lapse videos of plants. Below are some I found on YouTube specific to African violets.
36 hour time-lapse video of the normal circadian cycle of young blooms is seen here. They open in the morning and contract a bit in the afternoon-evening hours.
Time Lapse of some African violets from 1/27 to 3/15. Notice the leaves growing on the plants on the right side. Nice visual angle.
If you are prone to motion sickness this video my prove to be a challenge. But it is well done as the plant goes into full bloom over a 21 day period.
